≊ ETR BFM Residency 140326 w/ Junus Orca ≊ Stream link in bio "A sonically open-ended mix for introspection. I’ve chosen a collection of songs that work together to form a continuous environment, one that lacks clear beginnings or endings. It leans ambient in general, much like my recent output, featuring some of my favorite tracks from around the world, as well as some unreleased numbers from myself and others from Aotearoa." > @95bfm - each second Saturday of the month [1am - 2am NZT]

Introducing Warm Hurt, a new imprint dedicated to showcasing New Zealand artists and collaborators, fostering a space for lost music, art, and design. This project blends diverse perspectives with a deep, melancholic core. Catch us at @twomindsfestival 2026 for a two-hour live set that reimagines the sonic landscape of the imprint, filled with isolationist, emotive waves. Imperfect, incomplete. The warmest of hurt. Ecstatic to hear @junusorca in Pōneke following his visceral Dojo set during the storm at @twistedfrequencyfestival . Junus Orca is an artist hailed for crafting sonic landscapes that resonate with a visceral sense of nostalgia. His soundscape traverses ambient resonance, avant-pop, harsh noise, and the gritty edges of industrial and dub-infused techno, all juxtaposing raw, analog elements with an evocative emotional core. Expect a live set stacked with emotive waves of ethereal noise and deconstructed rhythms, reframing his existing catalogue with a sense of isolationism. POWER 2 PŌNEKE | Fri 30 Jan 🏠@13garrettstreet

Subtle Reflections is out today on @ninaprotocol and @bandcamp . I have very limited CDs (only 10) available for pre-order via Bandcamp. It felt right for this to have a physical copy, even if just a few. They will be available mid February. This record was written in 2020, and I’ve been using it to zone out since. I don’t normally feel connected to music that I wrote so long ago, but this one still feels good to me. It’s a collection of 5 ambient tracks all sonically connected in one way or another and woven together by a narrative that exists in my head. Cover photograph of @lissssssiejane by @nayhauss . Thank you for letting me use this image xo If you like ambient music or just want to support your Junus Orca then please support on Bandcamp.

We had so much fun working on our Warburton Collection project last year we wanted to keep it going. Cue the immensely talented Aotearoa / New Zealand producer line up Second Self, Reasxn, EMILIE & Junus Orca, providing their incredible perspectives and musicality to the Warburton Remix EP. These guys are no joke; such skilled and creative beings, and we’re so lucky that they contributed to this project. It was a nice way for us to deepen and expand its thematic connection to our home, in many ways a really beautiful representation of the diversity of people and nature of Aotearoa itself. . @ssssecondself @reasxnbeats @emiliemusic___ @junusorca . Out today on all platforms 🥂
