Visual Spotlight: BESS ✨
Bess, under the new moniker @lowcus29 , attempts to capture a sliver of experiences within and between dance floors across Ōtautahi. Attracted to stripped-bare visuals that give light (or show a lack thereof) to a much beloved scene which makes her, and many around her, feel at home. Clinical psychology researcher by trade, gig snapper by recreation, Bess’ intrigue into human behaviour permeates all of her work.
‘Lowcus’ refers to a particular situation or position where something occurs or is situated. In this case, within low frequencies, low light, and underground.
