A little over a year ago we released a song called Honest Youth with a new sound we were exploring as a band. Last month the 5th and final song from that exploration, Paris for the Summer, was released and today they are compiled as our second EP titled “Chasing Animals”.
This EP is ultimately about who we are as artists- taking a next step into this pursuit and what it looks like to joyfully endure. Lyrically the songs are about escaping the traps of constant self-reflection, broken culture, and the disillusionment of work. All of this through letting go of self-importance, turning focus onto the ones you love, getting out of your own backyard, holding to the truth, and finding sources that fill you up because of who you are not what you do. We are so proud to show the world Chasing Animals, and we hope we made songs you can dance to but also connect with & reflect on. Grateful you’re on this ride with us.
