Damn beautiful creature. She said “I’m going to climb that tree!” And i said “ummm ok? Sure?” And then she did it and I took one of the best photos I’ve ever taken in my LIFE! Last time I doubt her when she makes a suggestion.
Anyway, these are just a few shots from today’s shoot. I’m doing a campaign for Vans for my student portfolio and I am STOKED for where it’s headed!

Emo vs. Pop Punk Party - Denver CO, The Oriental Theater - May 2, 2026
Threw Jill the most whimsical Gin & Tonic Garden Party to celebrate her 37th revolution around the sun. This woman is pure magic to me and making her feel like an absolute queen, main character, life of the party for an entire day is something I’ll remember for the rest of my life.
Midna has quickly become everyone’s favorite family member. You can’t blame us, though. It’s hard not to instantly and dramatically fall in love with her.
For anyone not following along over at @hyrulianhuskies , we decided to take our newest bundle of fur and chaos, Midna, to the mountains for her first taste of mushing.
We had a liiiiitttle bit of a sled mishap where the handle snapped clean off after the dogs got a little too enthusiastic. They took off without @buffalove_jilly and almost ran all the way down the hill by themselves, little Midna strapped securely in the bed.
Luckily, I was able to push the dogs off to the side enough to get tangled up and slowed down. No one was injured, other than a few bruises and scratched up hands. The dogs were ready to keep going without us. 😂
But that’s life with huskies! Especially if you’re training them to be mushing dogs.
When I say I love what I do, this is what I mean. I grew up going to some of my first concerts in high school at @bouldertheater , so getting to shoot photos there on Saturday for @junorossa was a full-circle moment for me.
Sometimes can’t believe where this camera has taken me!
