写真展「ちいさきものの魂」の開催にあわせ、シンガー・作曲家のJun Futamataによる音楽イベントを開催します。
本展の世界観に寄り添う音楽と写真や映像作品が出会うことで、「見る」だけのものから、時間や空気を感じる体験へとひらかれていきます。
視覚や聴覚を手がかりに、「ちいさきもの」に宿る気配や記憶、存在のかたちを、立体的に捉える試みです。
To coincide with the photography exhibition “The Soul of Small Things”, a music event by singer and composer Jun Futamata will be held.
Music that resonates with the exhibition’s world meets photography and moving image works, opening up an experience that goes beyond simply “seeing” to one that evokes a sense of time and atmosphere.
Through visual and auditory cues, this event explores ways of perceiving the subtle presences, memories, and forms of existence that dwell within “small things.”

I’m pleased to share that I’m composing the music for the 3D action RPG “Warota: The Demon Lord’s Castle Next Door to My House”, a unique title where you build a village right beside the Demon Lord’s domain 🎮
The game is scheduled for release on Steam in Winter 2026, followed by Nintendo Switch 2 and PS5 in 2027.

New Release✨本日、アイスランドレコーディング最新作「孤独は声を発明した」をリリース！ 言語以前の感情を描く、プリミティブな声の輪郭。
Jun Futamata が4月22日に最新のシングル配信曲「孤独は声を発明した」をリリース。本作のレコーディングは、前作に引き続きアイスランド・レイキャビクにある Masterkey Studios にて制作され、同スタジオのオーナーでありプロデューサー／エンジニアの Sturla Mio Thorisson が参加。
さらにこの楽曲のレコーディングに参加したミュージシャンには、ビョーク、ヨハン・ヨハンソンなどから厚い信頼を寄せられるヴァイオリニスト、Una Sveinbjarnardóttir 率いるストリング・カルテットが加わり、有機的で深度のある音響を構築している。
本作は、人が言語を獲得する以前、振動や共鳴の中に宿っていた根源的な感情を“音”として立ち上げることを試みた作品。
これまで声を核に据え、ヴォーカリーズ的な手法を通して独自の表現を切り拓いてきたJun Futamataが、本作では、太古の生命の気配を想起させる温かみのあるアンビエントサウンドを軸に、意味や言葉へと結びつく以前の、より根源的な響きを探求した作品となっている。

思うよりも前に感じるような...

この作品が、そうした根源的な感覚に触れるための小さな入口となれたら嬉しいです。」

[English] I had the pleasure of attending a collaborative event featuring Daniel Toivonen, who serves as producer, director, and writer of the drama BLOOD & SWEAT, alongside Merja Palin, a textile designer based in Tampere, Finland.
Beyond insights into the work itself, the workshop offered a hands-on experience in crafting sauna mats with fellow participants. Listening to Palin speak about the forests and natural landscapes that inform her creative practice was particularly inspiring an evocative and deeply enriching exchange.
Ilkka Rahkonen, the executive producer from Finland, was also in Japan for the occasion.
I also had the opportunity to view a large-format tenugui featured within the drama. Its striking design captures, almost like an illustrated scroll, a certain legend central to the narrative.
