We see some familiar faces here so thought we'd introduce ourselves.
KEXP is a listener-powered nonprofit arts organization, which more or less makes us a five-decades-old community project where we work together to build a home for music discovery.
Thanks for being here. We mean it when we say we couldn't do it without you.

Sotomayor join @albinacabrera on the El Sonido: Cancioneros podcast this week 🎧
After exploring separate paths through projects like @pahuamusic and @tongaconga , the duo returns with WABI SABI, their first album in six years and a record that closes a cycle shaped by the pandemic, and opens a new one.
WABI SABI moves between the club and the Caribbean, a journey that begins in Mexico and ends in Puerto Rico.
In this podcast episode—recorded in Mexico City—they open their cancionero and trace their sound through Nortec Collective, Bomba Estéreo, Deep Dish, Everything But the Girl, and Aurita Castillo.
