What would happen if you spent two weeks away from all your vices, eating only organic food, away from the city and next to the ocean, meditating and doing yoga everyday, waking at sunrise, immersed in a practice devoted to individual and collective liberation among 50 other like minded yoga seekers/ badass human beings? (Thanks @kestyoga for posing this question at the beginning of our training!)
The answer? Your outlook gets more hopeful, your body gets stronger, your heart opens, clarity comes, inspiration lands, your tribe grows, wisdom deepens, and life gets better.
You are an accumulation of who you spend most of your time with. You are what you do and what you surround yourself with.
These opportunities are sacred and rare.
I'm forever grateful for the transformations that came from this time at @becomeayogi and time with all these incredible humans. Miss you all already!
The last two weeks of training with @becomeayogi has been an incredible whirlwind full of classes, learning, and socializing.
Now, that we're complete, my schedule is wide open.
I resisted this spaciousness at first, my busy mind wanting to review my notes and create flows for classes, but then I remembered the beauty of slowing down and the gift of presence.
The lesson is this:
Your senses call you back to your nature.
Slow down, so you can savor, so your life can become an intimate slow dance with the universe.

During breakfast today I had the privilege of learning from philosophy teacher Alex who came all the way from Thailand to share philosophical wisdom with us.
He shared that happiness, peace, and love are not emotions but are our nature. When they spontaneously arise we are remembering our true essence. When we seek them out it is our ego, our mind moving away from consciousness.
To live a life of purpose, meaning, and happiness means to remember our nature by residing in awareness rather than being driven by the goal of self development and peace.
Thank you @bryony.kenndoff for your lovely morning practice to prime my attention for this wisdom and meditation. 🫶
