One from the archives. This painting “the 5k tree” was one from my first series of paintings I did that I put in my local cafe. It was a tree that I used to run to and back and loved seeing it as I knew it was the half way point. It always had a beautiful sky behind it. To my surprise , this painting sold and gave me the biggest boost of confidence to continue painting. I still think of this painting and the tree and then the running… which I don’t do much of lately 🤣.

After three years of running my own art fair - @inner_west_art_fair , I am excited to step into the role of Art Curator at this year’s @melbflowershow Art Exhibition!! I am very passionate about elevating this art show with creative excellence and vibrancy. Everyone is welcome and it is one of the most beautiful shows in Melbourne that im honoured to be a part of. It’s been a week since the art fair and I have been reflecting on everything that happened. Each year the fair gets bigger in different ways and relationships deepen to deliver everything that we are about - creativity, community and connection. This could not have happened without the support of everyone around it, the artists, the businesses, the volunteers, the staff, the suppliers , our sponsors and of course my family!. I am still on a cloud here and enjoying everything the fair brings for everyone. Thankyou , truly ! “Lunch under the lemon tree” 50cm x 70cm / framed in Australian Blackwood . This one is one of the last available from the pop up sale. There was one little girl who realised most of my paintings feature a lemon and her family asked why. For me - lemons mean love and giving. Always lemons available from someone’s garden , or a basket outside someone’s house. It’s something we always need and always share. Name a better ingredient in the kitchen too?
