I'm thrilled to be involved with "This is a Gardening Show" on Netflix in collaboration with Radical Media. They had already developed some title designs and graphic explainers for the episode, and my role was to connect these elements and refine the in-show titles. The bubble typography was a hit with the team, but we explored various iterations before finalizing our choice. After selecting the right font and style, we moved on to testing worm animations, which we then polished and applied to the definitions, talent names, and the overall show opening. It's not every project you get to pitch, design and animate worm type. Hope you had a chance to check them out! I developed a logo and branding for Ronny Chieng’s stand-up special in collaboration with the exceptional team at Champion Turf, which is now available for viewing on @netflix The design was inspired by Elvis’ film Blue Hawaii, as the special was filmed in that location. It was so great to have Netflix as a client for the John Mulaney Presents: Everybody's in LA show. The second map was about palm trees, dojos, and award shops that are apparently all over the city. I created two LA maps that aired live on Netflix’s TikTok to hype up the live performance on the network. The concept was Where’s Waldo but with celebrities in LA. I rewatched the Sex and the City episode where they come to LA for research. It helped! Boys town is a place that works with troubled youth using a behaviorist approach to produce amazing results. I was hired as a creative director to bring the designs and animations to life for this film. Early on we wanted to make sure the graphs and data had personality.
