@fnbsyd for feeding the masses with free fresh fare, not to mention cutting sick on the dancefloor and above. much appreciation to near neighbours, who didn’t complain once about this huge affair unfolding on their doorstep - not to mention newtown police, who entirely ceded this sacred space to the community throughout. it is safer, kinder and cleaner as a result. a salute too to aunty gaye, for her sensitive and sincere welcome. cheers also to
@johnblakedjsoup for standing in for me at the the first gig i've ever had to cancel (after albo chose this date). despite rank and toxic political opportunism and the worst efforts of the grasping/greedy media barons that dominate dinosaur formats here, some wise choices were made across this country last night. what a privilege it was to be able to celebrate a rare semblance of sanity on this imperilled planet together, in real time. thank you all so much - it means the world to us xx
