48 hours on Horton Church Lake and Andy put together a solid result, banking 4 fish up to a 40lb common.
Getting down Friday night, the shallow end was busy so Andy kept moving, spotted fish rolling in one of the bays, and committed to it. That decision paid off Saturday morning with 4 takes, getting the rod straight back out after each bite.
The tactics were simple and effective:
•Multi-hinge rig style for quick hook changes
•Old faithful Advanced Chod size 4
•JP Putty holding firm like concrete
Fish landed: 28lb, 33lb, 38lb, and 40lb.

Buzzing to finish the trip with 6 fish in total on a lake absolutely choked with weed, and with the fish spawning for the first 2 days it definitely wasn’t straightforward fishing 🎣
Last night produced the biggest fish of the trip at 48lb 8oz 😮💨 A proper Crete Lakes unit caught on a spinner rig using a size 3 LG hook from @jprecisionhooks paired with a 4oz Trident style lead from @tridentleads .
Bait approach was kept simple but effective — mixed flavour @dnabaits boilies with some low oil 11mm pellet covered in tiger nut extract from @carpparticlesuk and a pop up presented over the top 🍬

48hr social down at Bayeswater Fisheries and it was hard going for most of it. The fish were stacked up in the shallows for the two days, making bites tough to come by.
Last morning though, big weather change and the fish finally showed in front of Billy. Quick recast on showing fish with a 12mm white Bug pop-up, JP size 6 Wide Gape on a slider system, then 2 pouches of 12mm Bugg boilies soaked in liquid food over the top.
Just 30 minutes later it was away 💥
A proper result to finish off with this 37.05lb linear.

Just back from a trip to jc fisheries famous manor, its not every day you get a chance to fish for the uks biggest fully although the fishing was tought we managed a few bites between us it took me until the last night to get my first bite but what a buzz when that alarm goes knowing it could be a 60+ , massive credit to Justin the owner for what he has created . Unfortunately none of us got to meet the lord of the manor but I did manage a cracking 34 common this morning big up to @jonbrooker_ for being at hand with the 📷 👌, cant wait to.go back.for another go already.

Finally managed to nick a proper day bite… an upper 30 common slipping over the net 🐋🖤
Lake 2 has been fishing ridiculously slow after a lot of the fish spawned earlier in the week, with plenty of swims struggling and experiencing some seriously quiet periods. That’s made it even more rewarding to keep consistently getting bites while the lake’s been hard going.
