āšŖļø Allow me to reintroduce myself! āšŖļø My name is Joss Jared Wynn BigginsšŸ‘‹ I’m a 28 y/o Professional Money Manager, Digital Nomad, Writer, and Athlete. Let’s just call that an ā€œEntrepreneurā€ šŸ› ļø šŸ™Œ I live an epic life, I’m super grateful for it. I’ve been very intentional about putting this life together, I’ve written down all the source codes and I’d love to share everything I know, and everything I am, with you. šŸ“± So what do I post about? Think of this as an open invitation to hang out in my corner of the internet—especially if you’re on a similar path. Maybe you don’t fit neatly into one box, maybe you wear a lot of hats, maybe you’re constantly evolving. If that sounds like you, here’s what I’m focused on right now: 1ļøāƒ£ Managing money, attention, energy and time. 2ļøāƒ£ Building a service business, an online business, scalable systems and the maybe even the odd physical product 3ļøāƒ£ Learning Spanish, Jiu Jitsu, how to move, how to think and what I means to live a good life. 4ļøāƒ£ Not taking myself too seriously, trying to be as kind as I can be. šŸŒŽ From Latin America to North America, in the matrix to out of it, from finance to philosophy, I move between worlds, questioning, creating, and occasionally oversharing thoughts that probably should’ve stayed in the drafts. (Link in my bio šŸ‘€ ) We talk business, fitness, psychology, and why the best investments aren’t just financial. Stick around if you’re into that sort of thing. Or don’t. Either way, I’ll still be here, building, learning, and sweating (sometimes voluntarily) If that resonates with you. Shoot me a DM, introduce yourself. I’d love to get to know you. Nice to meet you šŸ¤ ___________________________________________ ##notestostrangers #digitalnomad #peakperformance #writerscommunityofinstagram #mentalwealth #secondbrain #entrepreneurmotivation

Strong hooks, loosely held. A few lessons from coconut climbing šŸ‘‡ You might know that phrase as ā€œstrong beliefs, loosely heldā€. I never really understood that. I had to translate that to action, to something physical, before I could get it. I had to get a base in Jiu Jitsu before I could get it. Coconut climbing has been a great teacher. I mean, if I have no grips, I’m gone, falling. If I am too grippy, I’ll exhaust almost instantly. The right hooks at the wrong angles won’t work either. The right hooks at the right angle but at the wrong position? Nope, I’m falling. Coconut climbing is some 3D sheit. Fear? A healthy amount. (I’m scared of heights)I have to find flow in the fear. Always moving forward, slowly (be courageous, know what fears are real and which are not) Connected movements, strong core, work through the back chain. (Harmony in your actions) Toss the cocos to a homie, that way they won’t break (do it together). Climb correctly, this leaves no trail (stewardship) if not, I won’t be able to get back up the tree next time. I don’t need much, a coconut tree has no branches, but with skill and strength, you can get up. (minimalism, resourcefulness) Coconuts are always in season, they are always there for you, if you just LOOK UP (optimism) A big s/o to one of my Jedi Masters and Content Daddy @deshoots @deshoots.visuals for capturing a moment that honestly made me emotional. Another shout out to my movement coach @bamlionheart for showing me it’s possible to achieve my childhood dream of climbing a coconut tree (no lie). I always thought this movement was so fuggin cool and I never thought my gordito self could do it.

Traveling the world šŸŒŽ B(J)ordan sack on my back. Responsibilities pesado. N(M)ikes on my feet. Free soul. Too cheap to hike Machu Picchu. Deep alignment. Amor por mi corazón. Hard core sacrifices a decade ago. Supporting my family. Business booming. Thinking about raising chickens and farming plĆ”tano. Richer than I’ve ever been *Rick Ross Voice*

The community will do more for you than even you could do for you. Yet we disregard being in community, we push social ā€˜obligations’ to the bottom of the list. This is wild behaviour that I also engage in. Especially when one of our primary purposes on this planet is to connect. Sitting in ceremony, sitting in circle, sharing hardship, sharing wins, working through conflict, experiencing the world together. These are some of most meaningful moments of your live, of my life. and you know this. So why is it that we don’t design our life around the community we want to be apart of? What has convinced us that our fellow humans are not critical to our own surviving and thriving. As my brother @deshoots says; all we really need to live so close that we can walk a cup of coffee to our homies in the morning.

I MADE IT TO NIKE HQ… the same day I bought a Tesla. Ouuuu boi - 2020 vision finally paying off! To my surprise, I was completely unimpressed, it was like I was pulling up to Adidas World HQ. ā€˜They told me to just do it, I listened to what that swoosh said’... for twenty+ years. Jokes aside, Nike told a better story than Adidas, sold stronger belief than the church. That Swoosh gifted me more hope than anything else in my environment, for a LONG time . But then I evolved. Started writing. Started scribbling my own narrative, building my own belief, becoming my own person. When the time came to visit Nike HQ... pulling up in my fancy car, wearing my fancy handmade natural fabrics. I thought I was going to fan out, and slap a fresh pair of Jordan 3’s on this fit. Instead, that childish grin just faded to grateful smile. I knew I was done, that story didn’t serve me anymore I don’t feel tricked. That brand, that consumeristic story, got me through until I was grown enough to write my own. In the end - I’m just grateful I made the choice to stop consuming, and start creating.

How it feels to leave the west right now 😢 Shocking how this much actually hits. If anybody is willing to talk about this out in the open in the comments section, well, I’ll be waiting for you.

All those intentions and manifestations made it out the journal. Just in time for me to let them go. Adelantamos ahora.

As cute as it is to workout with your person, aligning your movement to your cycle is one of the most important things you can do for yourself I went to the yoga shala for some flowy stretches because I know that’s what my body needs in my luteal phase. Then this monkey of a man thought it’d be fun to bring me through his ā€œchillā€ workout… Needless to say, I wasn’t impressed Here’s why you should be planning your workouts around your cycle and why I’ll be ignoring his cues next luteal phase: • Your body is actually working harder just to exist right now. Your basal metabolic rate increases in the luteal phase, meaning you need more calories and more rest. Forcing high intensity leads to depletion and burnout, not gains. • This is the time to down regulate. The luteal sass is often just your nervous system feeling overwhelmed. Choosing yoga or mobility over a high stress workout helps soothe your system and manage irritability before you cuss out your boyfriend. • Progesterone naturally raises your body temperature, which is why moderate movement can suddenly feel like a marathon. If you feel like you’re overheating or gasping for air faster than usual, remember, it’s your biology, not a lack of conditioning. Be kind to yourself šŸ¤

You know, smell accounts for about 80% of what we perceive as flavour, so it’s only natural you take in the aroma before you taste the grape. Si or si?
