It is a huge honour today to be a part of the team bringing out new music by my good friends @thisistalos and @atliorvarsson on @innimusic Eoin wrote lots of music in the INNI building in Reykjavík and was the first to use the studio as his own workshop as it was being done up. Glad this is out there. The full EP is out on Dec 6th on vinyl. The rugby world cup final with the old man in the greatest city in the world. Very lucky to have witnessed the spectacle. Solid photobomb from the volunteer. Still not sure about hakas at all, even in person. It was a really class once in a lifetime experience, even if Ireland could have been there 🥲

Our short film 'A City Under Quiet Lights Vol. 1' is out today online for everyone to view. We have had the pleasure of premiering this at @corkfilmfest and did screenings at @soundsfromasafeharbour and now it's for everyone. I love it, it's a real love letter to Cork, filmed expertly from the lens of @myles.o.reilly . This year's @soundsfromasafeharbour that just passed is very hard to describe. To witness so many worlds colliding in our beautiful Cork of all places was something else. What a special week that nobody involved will forget. I have bottled up last week as reserves for a long time to come. All of the artists and crew are legends. Thank you @hicksonmary for having @quietlightsmusic and myself along for the ride. I'm such a bad documentarian but here's the week from start to finish in a few snippets. 1. @olafurarnalds photographing @alximrdch to Cork Harbour. Alexi had sailed 10 days from Scotland. 2. @yevagabonds scheming with @hicksonmary , Cillian Murphy, Max Porter and @ectoderm88 3. Yesterday I was lucky enough to work with these four brilliant musicians who provided the music for President Joe Biden's banquet at Dublin Castle. At least I know I won't ever find a new career as a photographer, but feeling very lucky to have been a part of it. Band brought together brilliantly by @garymsheehan as always.

@islandermusic_ie is five years old today! What started with just me in Jan 2018 now has four of us in the management team based between Kilkenny, Cork, West Cork & LA, and the creative producing side of Islander being run by myself and @marjiebot continue to produce festivals, films, tours and some of the most ambitious arts events in Ireland and internationally. We get to manage some of our favourite artists on a day-to-day basis, and we get to work with a whole lot more on a project to project basis. Very very lucky. Finally - commiserations to my mum who gets all of Islander's post and has to post it out to me in LA every three weeks.
