every day i’m learning how to take the space i need and step into the ones i want to be in. still working on it, but each time i step into the unknown i feel like i get to know more of myself. i don’t always know what pulls me to make images, but these of @viniciusiv feel like that space i’m building for myself.
thank you Vini for making these with me, appreciate you showing up for this <3
These photographs come from a tension, wanting to be purposeful but also drifting in the weight of the everyday.
Seeing people in my community do what they love gives me permission to do the same. They inspire me, and it’s reflected back through these photographs.
In the homes, portraits, and objects I photograph, both dread and beauty exist side by side. A pair of boots, a family portrait, a teddy bear, these fragments become portraits, and through them I search for my own permission to exist.

The future is unknown, and memories drift quietly, slipping away the moment they occur. Rooms carry remnants of ourselves, gestures, objects, quiet energy left behind, the essence left by a loved one. Even fleeting traces, like a flicker of light or a subtle gesture, can feel like a hug, a connection to the past and to those we love.
Life and memory are transient, fragmentation inevitable, but even what isn’t preserved continues to exist, emotionally, spiritually, relationally. Threads linger between moments, quietly connecting fragments, leading us toward what feels like home.
Deep gratitude to my collaborator @io.ka for bringing her presence, trust, and light to this work.
made some photos of @6swsh9 for their new single coming out soon 💚
We kept coming back to this idea of release, something celebratory but also raw. being out in open space, moving without thinking, letting the moment carry itself

Meet your florist!!!
I’m Lauren. I’ve always loved the unexpected, whimsy, romance, things that feel a little ~off.. in a good way.
I started out as an illustrator making zines and screenprinting, and I still think that way when I work with flowers. It feels like one of my drawings coming to life. I approach arrangements almost like collage. Layering, shifting, letting things overlap or fall a little out of place.
I’m drawn to negative space but also maximalism, texture, and really punchy color. I like that tension. When something feels full, but still has room to breathe.
I’m inspired by nature, art and fashion, and I love using unconventional lines and playful movement to create arrangements that tell a story.
I make florals for dinners, weddings, experiential, and personal gestures- anything that calls for something thoughtful, romantic, and a bit unconventional. 🙂

We talked about freedom
not as something to find, but something already here
and the ways we move around it
avoid it
delay it
these images feel like that space
the quiet spiral of being alone in a room close to something you can’t quite access
