It’s finally here. I spent most of last year series directing on 'Cleaning Up Ireland'.
Some long days and nights, plenty of grossness, and lots of moments of laughter, backed by a brilliant team along the way.
We spent time with some of the most hardworking, honest, and genuinely brilliant people I’ve had the pleasure of filming with. No nonsense, just real people doing real work.
Cleaning can carry a certain stigma, but growing up in a household where both my parents worked in cleaning, I’ve always known the reality. The graft, the pride, the dignity in it.
Very proud to have helped tell these stories.

Being part of On The Beat is something I won’t forget.
After watching the brilliantly made first series, I knew the doc went up close with Gardaí, unafraid to explore both the good and the bad sides of their work.
Even though I was initially on the fence, for personal reasons it felt like an opportunity to really witness the day-to-day of the job.
I wouldn’t change a thing. We spent time with people who are tough, compassionate, and genuinely built for this work. Getting to know and engage with the Guards we filmed was an eye-opener.
Working on the ground with @daraftallon and @throneofsoup as our tight-knit production team made it one of the most solid and satisfying working experiences I’ve had in a long time.
And @oddboymedia , @owenmcardle , Sean King, @ruthgroden and @willfegen absolutely smashed the heavy lifting, bringing some of the series’ most exciting and personal stories to life.
