It’s been a little while! First post in over a year, and what better way to ease back in than with a shoot I did earlier this year in the South of France for @agencebio , part of a national campaign encouraging people to choose organic. I was there to shoot the stills alongside the TV commercial (directed by @k_s_mcmullen ), and we packed a lot into a few days around Sète and Montpellier: family lunches, school canteens, street food, markets, garden meals… all grounded in real, everyday life. All celebrating organic. Big thanks to @k_s_mcmullen , @eddy.tv , @westindiestribu and @thegoodcompany_agency for having me along.

Look what popped up at Liverpool Street Station! My photo of Stella from the 'Heart of the Home' project is now part of @bravesparklondon 's campaign for @whichuk . It's fantastic to see this work out in the wild. Big thanks to Brave and Which? for choosing one of my images! #AdPhotography #AdvertisingCampaign #AdvertisingPhotographer #LifestyleShoot #EverydayMoments

Enlisted the help of ChatGPT to write today's post in the voice of Sister Wendy Beckett, art historian extraordinaire, and it's certainly delivering the goods 😂 This masterpiece, captured during his 'Heart of Home' project, represents the epitome of father-son bonding in its purest form. The subject, Andy and his cherubic progeny from the charming town of Walthamstow, exude a joie de vivre that is nothing short of infectious. The instant, captured with such photographic finesse, epitomizes the laughter and playfulness that elevates family time to the realm of the extraordinary. One cannot help but be struck by the sheer virtuosity of this composition, where even the most whimsical of gestures - being upside down - is transformed into a visual feast of jocundity. #HeartOfHome #FatherSonBonding #FamilyTime #JoyOfLife #ArtHistory #ChatGPT

Taking a trip down memory lane with a behind-the-scenes moment from last year's shoot for @23redlondon 's NHS Covid booster campaign. Shot at a care home in Hastings, our model Annette Marchant was a true pro, still playing with her jigsaw prop long after we finished. The dedication to her role was magnificent! 💪 #NHS #ModelGoals

Really excited to be a part of Portrait of Britain 2023 with my shortlisted image, "Ella Immersed." It's a celebration of the boundless possibilities of technology, as seen through the eyes of my adorable niece. Unfortunately I made the grave mistake of leaving my VR headset at her house, it's been over a year now, but she still won't give it back. 😂 Big thanks to @bjp1854 and @jcdecaux_uk for showcasing the winning portraits across the UK, and to the judges @sabinajaskotgill @mussairenee @sianaddicott @martinusborne @misanharriman for selecting my image. Don't miss the chance to see all the winning portraits, including "Ella Immersed," in the Portrait of Britain 2023 book published by @hoxtonminipress . Introducing Eli, a young man who continues to inspire despite facing challenges from severe epilepsy and learning difficulties. Thanks to a new treatment with Epidyolex, a CBD-based pharmaceutical medicine, Eli has seen a noticeable improvement in his life. Not only is he now able to interact with those around him, but the medication has also dramatically reduced his daily seizures. In this photo, Eli is participating in animal therapy, a type of therapy that has been shown to have numerous benefits for both the mind and body. From reducing stress to promoting overall well-being, it's amazing what a little time with a horse can do. Eli's story is a testament to the power of determination and the transformative impact of the right treatments. Keep pushing forward, Eli! #AnimalTherapy #OvercomingAdversity #QualityOfLife #InspiringJourney #PortraitPhotography #LifestylePhotography

When life gives you tantrums, make it a photo opportunity. Eden and her dad were having a blast playing together, but as any parent knows, sometimes things can get a little heated. That's what makes this moment so special and authentic - it's a real slice of family life. And that's exactly what I'm trying to capture in my 'Heart of the Home' series. So here's to embracing those little moments that make family life so special. #heartofthehome #familylife #familyportrait #candidmoments #lifestylephotography

I had the pleasure of shooting Jo for @bupa ’s #ThisIsHealth campaign this Summer. She's a breast cancer survivor having had a double mastectomy and full hysterectomy. She's a self described "Chemo Ninja" and in her words is "living life as a flattie". The campaign is all about redefining the meaning of health and wellness for the modern age; through powerful stories, the series shows how health in 2022 looks and feels different to every individual. Tim is a knifemaker who's passionate about zero waste and sustainability. His hand forged knives are created from 100% recyclable materials, including the plastic handles that he casts from donated shotgun cartridges. Pretty cool huh? #knives #canonr5

Meet Elaine, the owner of ‘The Flower Lady’ in Herne Hill. I had the privilege of shooting Elaine outside of her beautiful shop, which has been in her family for generations. She’s truly treasured by the locals, so much so that back in 2018 the community launched a petition to save her business when Network Rail proposed to relocate her. Find @the.flower.lady.elaine at 297 Railton Rd, London SE24 0JP #portraitphotography #hernehill #canonr5

During the lockdowns, I had to keep my personal projects local and shot outside. It was a fantastic opportunity at the time to begin documenting life in East London's allotment communities. I'd often walked by, but I'd never been inside an allotment before. They always seemed to be quite secluded and private, offering the ideal escape during a pandemic and an escape from city life. Inside, I met a slew of colourful characters, learned about their rivalries and politics, and sampled the incredible organic food they all produced. Here's a small selection from the series. @lbwalthamforest
