In September, I drove to Italy in my little rickety car to fulfill a long-held dream. The
@academyofvisionaryart organized a seminar where a group of artists spent three weeks learning various painting techniques under the guidance of two masters.
In the field of Oils, Tempera and Mischtechnik,
@daniel.mirante instructed us under the theme “Journey to Oneness,” while
@jonathan_solter led the acrylic group with his approach “Deconstructive Portrait.” Both accompanied us with patience and dedication throughout the three weeks, and for me personally, it was an infinitely valuable experience to receive direct guidance on my paintings in person.
The group of artists consisted of wonderful, inspiring women, and we continuously supported and carried each other through our creative processes. Be sure to check out the profiles of the other artists as well — each one has her own unique signature, and I’m endlessly grateful to have been part of such a harmonious and graceful group.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this seminar possible — to
@florencemenard.cuepaliztli for her devotion, her efforts, and the beautiful time we shared.
And to
@ecovillaggiotorrisuperiore for the magical stay and the unbelievably delicious Italian food :)
For my artistic growth, there were countless highlights, but the greatest development I feel is in my inner attitude toward creating art. The deeper I dive into the process of creation, the more a sense of enthusiasm and unrestrained motivation arises — and now I know that this force truly exists within me. I want to give more space to this process and momentum, and continue exploring what it really means to be an artist in this world.
