This is a series of sound compositions created during residency at the Experimental Sound Studio in Chicago. The project began with old postcards found in local thrift shops. The messages once sent, but now forgotten.
Focusing on Chicago landmarks, I revisited these sites through sound walks, field recordings,voice fragments from the city and invited locals to read the messages written on the postcards. Each piece reimagines the stories and emotions lingering within these postcards, as if their senders and recipients were still somewhere close.
