Waking up to so many beautiful messages and seeing how the world is reacting to this body of work is truly overwhelming in the best way. Working on the Super Bowl has always been a dream of mine for so long, and I could not be more grateful that it was this one. #BenitoBowl 🏈🇵🇷
This moment means everything to me. My grandparents immigrated to the US to give our family a chance at a better life and to chase the American dream. I think about them a lot today. Every long day, every lesson, every costume along the way led me here. I felt prepared. I felt ready. And I knew this moment was bigger than me.
Thank you to our head costume designer @karlaymiranda for believing in me. I’m so grateful our paths crossed again and that we got to stand side by side and witness something so special.
