It's been a week. From battling for 24 hours (74.4 miles) on the art museum steps to winning the 2024 @phillymag health & wellness influencer of the year... I'm feeling SO grateful for the ride and all the people on it with me. Thank you to everyone who supports me, what I'm building (@project.endure ) and what I care about (#dohardthings). OUR 2025 EVENT From a few people in a park (2021) to a sold out crowd (2025), we’ve grown a lot over the past few years. It’s hard to put into words how special it is to have hundreds of incredible humans in the same room, making connections, doing hard things and dancing to music that most people don’t hear (šŸŽ™ļø). This year’s event was unforgettable and almost indescribable (one that you need to experience in order to understand). Energy was electric, conversations were deep and moments were meaningful. The MAGIC of this gathering was the people in the room (YOU). We want to extend a BIG THANK YOU to every single person who traveled from near and far to be with us for our annual event this past weekend. We wouldn't be here without you and we couldn’t be more thankful for how our 2025 event was executed, experienced and captured. I don't talk about it often because to me it's just a normal part of life but for those of you who don't know, I have a genetic condition [Best Disease] that causes progressive loss of sight. From childhood through adulthood, it's been a roller coaster experience. The path toward blindness had been full of highs, lows, lots of lessons and so much growth. If there's one thing I've come to understand, it's that there are two kinds of hard in life and both present opportunities for growth. 1. The hard we choose. 2. The hard that chooses us. I'm grateful for this hard that shows me and in many ways, this struggle has shaped me in ways that nothing else could. The idea behind @project.endure is to help others find strength in their own struggle because life is hard and WE ALL FIGHT BATTLES. If you're new, welcome! Yes, I woke up at 4:00 AM to prepare for a Monday morn my long run starting at 4:50 AM because I needed to be done at 8:00 AM to eat, shower and start working. I didn't "want" to run 20 miles first thing this morning but it was the ONLY window that I could make it happen. Instead of making excuses and not getting it done, I did it and now I'm feeling GOOD. That's how life works. It doesn't have to be a 20 mile long run to kick off the week BUT everything you want is on the OTHER SIDE of hard. So please, go and ... Do hard things.
