What’s more amazing than the end result is the process behind it from sketch to prototyping to creating the structures. Simply love working with paper best colleague there is ! For W/F 2025 Window Displays, I painted macrame, knits, and woven art pieces inspired by the S.F Art school and how they were inspired by nature and crafts. Suspended from the ceiling, these beauties seem to float in mid-air, revealing a golden glow when flipped, just in time for the festive season! I loved every step of this project, from painting to the final product, printed and laser-cut out of honeycomb.🍃

Aaahhh I guess I begin by dragging my chommies to see where my origins are. Seeing the @allen.laing Xylomantis thrive. Dragging @casperhogenboom and @jnkfa through the whole lot of Jozi and going bundu bosveld bashing seeing beautiful @kimberley_anne_nagel which almost makes my eyes just teary writing this. Real life action seeing a lion devouring its brunch right in front of our eyes on my bff bday bash! with a long list of wild life seen in the pocket ( not that we bargained on it. A bietjies Gruesome!!!!
Being in Pretoria, hugging my mom again. And all the unexpected craziness just gives me so much go.

We do things our way! A big part of me moving to Europe was thanks to this one of a kind city. I would rush finishing exams to draw Eiffel tower’s on the back of them. Ive managed to do an internship there and fall in love with my man 10 years counting. Through thick and thin. Never in my wildest dreams would I have envisioned taking my soon to be 7 year old Djune for her birthday present to Paris would be the outcome. It was so great sharing this surprise with @marionnetteinsta and her girl, Djunes friend. I appreciate friends and family the most who have been there for us and we being there for them. Being a part of sharing, and caring in our way. So much appreciation my heart is full. 🥐
