A privilege to present at the George W. Bush Presidential Center forum on leadership representing the Institute Veteran leadership program, The Washington Tattoo, and promoting American fifing and drumming as a method to steward service, dedication, and purpose.
#weare so thrilled to have @jmarkreilly as a guest artist for the next 3 days! Mark plans on giving the Students an inside look on what it is like to be involved with the United States “The Old Guard” Fife & Drum Corps.

Last Friday was a special day to witness the promotion of Antoinette Gant to Major General and her assumption of command of the Joint Task Force-National Capital Region & U.S. Army Military District of Washington. 🇺🇸
The US Army Military District of Washington (MDW) carries a unique responsibility and I was proud to be a small part of their incredible story!
MDW represents our Army in the most visible moments, ceremonies of national significance at The White House, the Pentagon, and Arlington National Cemetery, tributes to those who have served including Dover Missions and Presidential State Funerals, and the daily military readiness required in our nation’s capital.
To lead that formation is both an honor and a very weighty charge.
I was proud to attend on behalf of the AUSA George Washington Chapter alongside our President, Karen Lowe.
It was also wonderful to reconnect with friends from The United States Army Field Band and The United States Army Band “Pershing’s Own”, senior leaders and organizations who continue to preserve the Army’s heritage and traditons.
Seeing Lieutenant General Johnny Davis, my former Regimental Commander at the 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) and the great MDW team of Marci Seeger, Scott Vincent, and Christie League brought it all full circle.
