On behalf of the incredible team that wrote, directed, produced, and engineered the film, We Ride Why, we would love to have you join us for a screening of the film at The SIFF Film Center (Seattle Center) this Saturday, 2.21.26. Doors-6:00, Film-7:00. From the words of The Director, Greg Roth: 6-months ago, We Ride Why finally premiered in our city under the Space Needle. One of the subjects of our film, Bennett White, who was in stage-4 cancer said it best. “We all need to help each other to help get through the hard times.” Cancer is hard times. War is hard times. Oppression is hard times. The world is going through hard times and we need each other and we need to connect more now than ever. We are doing our best to do our small part to bring some light and love into the world through hard times.
For those of you who were not able to attend the live screening this past June - On Saturday, February 21, we are coming back to the big screen at SIFF Seattle Center for a live screening. We are honored to partner with Cascade Bicycle Club who do so much to improve the overall experience for cyclists in the PNW. We are also honored to have our Fred Hutch Obliteride Team partner Cascade Bicycle Studio. 2026 will be the third year for the team.
The event will be co-hosted by KEXP’s Troy Nelson and the voice of We Ride Why, Grammy Winner and Cancer survivor Michael A. Wansley We have some special things planned.
Like last time, it is not just a screening. It is an evening for others to come together to connect share in safe space where you are seen. The “Seattle Freeze” does not exist in our world. To purchase tickets, the link is in my bio. I hope to see you there!

Thank you so much to @easystreetrecords for having @jefffieldermusic and I out on Saturday night! 🎉 We love your crew and the store. There are still more copies of my new album 'Sing, baby!' there if you want to go get one.
Thank you also to @jktang for these photos! Today I posted over 40 of these on my Patreon page so go there if you want to see exclusive photos. And please support and hire Jason for events.
Speaking of my Patreon, last week I also posted a full video of our band covering the Bob Dylan song "To Make You Feel My Love." The upper subscribers got that one. Join the Patreon for as little as $1 a month through my website (bio).
I'll see you at the next show. ❤️

Thoroughly enjoyed my time with Jason, Greg and meeting several of Greg’s cycling teammates yesterday. Greg, Jason and team have been working on one of the greatest documentaries I’ve ever seen. The name is, We Ride Why. Please go to and see what this film is all about and what it stands for ❤️🖤. And if you decide you want to be a part of the first public viewing (PLEASE DO), it will be shown at SIFF film center on 6/28 and 6/29. This is a documentary that is going to have a long lasting impact on humanity, community and the legacy of never stopping to honor folks that have fought the painful battle of Cancer. More to come very soon!
After 8 years and several setbacks, we can say that finally things are happening… @weridewhy 🎬🎥 is coming to @siffnews in June. These will be our first public screenings. One of the nights will be for a fundraiser for @fredhutch@obliteride Obliteride for our with our partners, @cascadebicyclestudio . Tickets start going on sale next week. More to be announced soon! #WeRideWhy #documentary #Film #Filmmaking #communitymatters #loveinaction #curecsncerfaster ❤️🚴🖤
