Anyone who has spent any time talking to me over the last year knows that I’ve been mentioning an indie feature that I produced back in fall of 2023 which is very special to me. That film is called $POSITIONS and it is officially slated to world premiere at @SXSW
I am extremely grateful to have gotten the opportunity to turn such an awesome script by our fearless director Brandon Daley into a real movie and I couldn’t have done it without my producing partner Ben Gojer. From the moment I read the story, I knew that this film is going to do great things.
I am also personally grateful to everyone who worked with us and there are too many people to tag them all. This was easily some of the most fun I've ever had working on a film in my entire life. The spirit of people coming together around an idea of creating something that will genuinely make strangers happy watching embodied every working day on set in a way that I’ve never seen before.
Thank you to everyone who came together as a community to make this film, for it has truly inspired me. I am absolutely honored to represent the Chicago indie film scene this year on the big stage and bring one back for us all with a feature win to pave the way for many more to come!
Lastly, I am still blown away by the cast performances across the board from Mike, Vinny, Trevor, Kaylyn, Jeff, Angelo, Reagan, Ace - something that can not be understated.
