People always ask, “what does a producer even DO?” And it’s like sheesh, where do I begin!! Not all producers are the same, but the real ones move in silence like lasagna 🍝 here’s a little journey into my amazing time on

A producer makes and manages a budget, a producer makes sure the lunch is hot and ready to serve, a producer lugs the Keurig to set, a producer deals with accidents and insurance…again and again. A producer helps clarify logistical information, or has a cameo, and makes sure the footage is backed up. A producer brings people together, did I mention accidents & insurance again and again? A producer is the first to arrive and last to leave, therefore having fast food cravings almost constantly, and dresses like a traffic cone to hold up the sidewalk! A producer talks to Matt Dillion outside of Barney Greengrass, a producer inspires younger female cinematographers & throws a damn good wrap party. I think I did a lot of other stuff but it all blurs together because it’s my job and I damn love it.
