The masonry screen at Newstead Series reflects the character of the area, with blockwork, brickwork, and concrete used with purpose. Project architect Liam Proberts from Bureau Proberts describes how it was designed for character, privacy, and light control using it’s a permeable layer within a steel frame, built strong and precise.

Streetscapes are coming to life, interiors are taking shape, joinery and paint are nearly complete, timber flooring is underway, and with services done, landscaping has begun. Our final freehold residences are close to completion and the Villas aren’t far behind—Parkside is almost sold out.
In partnership with Tervo Co, emerging artist duo @Selva Labs has transformed the Brewers Terraces site hoarding into an interactive artwork blending colour, culture, and technology.
Selva Labs is the creative pairing of Oskr and Mincho - two Colombian-born artists now based in South East Queensland.
This project reflects JGL’s commitment to creative placemaking, local artistic talent, and future-focused design. What was once a blank hoarding is now a talking point, a photo opportunity, and an interactive experience for the Brisbane community.

LatStudios’ landscape design for Newstead Series creates a central green heart that draws on Brisbane’s backyard traditions: verandas, barbecues, and time with friends around the pool. Lush planting, quiet spaces, and shared amenities make it a true subtropical retreat in the city.
