For the seventy-sixth edition of @theadcc awards, Rethink Design was selected to develop the identity.
Scavenging through existing AI-generated images, we repurposed them in @cavalry.app to construct characters made entirely of this AI slop. The result was a series of uncanny figures that try, but fail, to appear human; because true human creativity is irreplaceable.

This year’s Young Lions brief was to redesign the Bike for Brain Health event. We designed a dynamic system based around a bike that shifted depending on its environment. My fave part? The motion system 🫶🏻🫶🏻 What an absolute dreaam this whole process was. CANNOT wait for Cannes and what’s to come next.

With International Women’s Day just passing, it only feels right to share @rethinkideas new work for @ywcabc . This project has a special place in my heart.
YWCA BC needed a rebrand that echoed their mission to amplify the collective strength of women. We started by creating the “Y” logo, where three shapes converge to form a strong and dynamic triangle. This motif scales across the entire design system, acting as a spotlight for messaging and illustration. Paired with a bold palette and confident typography, the new photography style showcases the real women of the YWCA at the centre of the brand. Built for women by women, this visual identity proves that collective strength isn’t just felt, it’s seen. Font is PP Neue Corp by @pangram.pangram
Always exciting to help shape how Canada shows up on the global stage. If you visited Osaka this year, or followed Expo 2025; you may have seen the visual identity we created for the Canadian pavilion.
The system brings together the pavilion’s architecture and the maple leaf in a single mark, supported by a clean typographic and wayfinding approach. It’s a nod to the legacy of Canadian modernism, and it’s great to finally share it.

IN Frame puts the art of Indian storytelling at the core of its identity, utilizing the country’s shorthand “IN” to create a framing device that showcases exhibition artwork. Institution majeure de l’art contemporain au Canada, le MAC traverse une longue période de transformation, marquée par sa reconstruction et sa relocalisation temporaire à la Place Ville Marie. Ce moment clé, où le public peine à trouver le musée, est l’occasion idéale de renforcer son identité visuelle et de repenser sa signalétique. En s’appuyant sur son symbole emblématique, nous avons conçu une police de caractères sur mesure et une grille modulaire afin d’outiller le MAC pour affirmer son rôle actif dans le paysage culturel montréalais.

The MAC, a major institution for contemporary art in Canada, is undergoing a long period of transformation marked by its reconstruction and temporary relocation to Place Ville Marie. While the public struggles to find the museum during this key moment, it is the ideal opportunity to reinforce its visual identity and rethink its signage. Inspired by the MAC’s iconic symbol, we created a custom typeface and modular grid system to help the museum assert its active role in Montreal’s cultural landscape.

🧠 New Stuff 🧠 The Psychedelic Psychotherapy Forum is an annual conference held in Vancouver for practitioners to learn the benefits of psychedelic therapy. Their new identity highlights an individual's altering mind while in psychedelic treatment. Inspired by brain scans, the system expands and alters layouts, representing a firing brain that explores and connects new ideas.
