Not only in what was given, but in what I have had to discover, integrate and make my own.

I’ll be joining three sessions that reflect different and interconnected aspects of our industry — from long-term artist development and the evolution of creative identity, alongside colleagues @alextripi.official , @stevehogan19 and @alexmontoyaal , to the importance of mental health and wellbeing across the wider ecosystem behind the scenes, alongside @francesbarbershillito , @tristanhuntuk , @_inezandco , @itstrinasmith and @fernandomontes__ .
Building a lasting career in music requires more than visibility. It asks for clarity of direction, consistency of vision, and commitment to meaningful development over time. A perspective we’ll explore at IMS Academy with @petetong_djacademy .
The sustainability of our industry also depends on recognising the human dimension of the environments we create — not only on stage, but across the teams and structures that support it. As part of the Brave Space series, this conversation invites an open and honest dialogue around mental health and wellbeing within the industry.
Grateful to be part of these dialogues and to exchange perspectives with colleagues shaping the future of the field.

Beat Wala brings a new string to its bow in the name of a more round table format once a month and we start next month at Jara, downstairs at the stunning salon of one of our favourite hotels @thestandardibiza close to Dalt Vila.
We invite guests to talk about the themes of inclusivity, nightlife safety, community, equality, inclusion, diversity and heritage this year and to see how we can bring in a wider variety of artists from all sorts of backgrounds and create a platform that celebrates the wide and broad range of music this island was founded upon by its Balearic beginnings.
For our very first conversation I am delighted to have co-host, @christianlenmusic , author of the an Oral History of Balearic Club Culture in Ibiza, to help me open the discussion on how we safe guard community in nightlife culture, and make clubs a safe space.
To join us we have @shamsfaure from @akashaibiza , Beatriz Murillo Garcia from @amnesiaibiza , @nicksibiza of @pikesibiza and @jesscapaz who took care of Artistic Direction of @pachaofficial Ibiza for a very very long time up and until very recently.
We are really looking forward to having this conversation, followed by a little music industry drinks and reception in the bar there 5-7pm and excited to launch this new monthly networking event and talks series.

Dear Family
After 15 incredible years, my chapter with Pacha comes to an end.
It’s been a journey filled with music, creativity, and connection, one that has shaped me both personally and professionally in ways I’ll always treasure.
I feel immense gratitude for every moment shared, every colleague and artist who became family, and every night that reminded me why we do what we do: to connect, to feel, to celebrate life together.

“She sat at the back and they said she was shy.
She led from the front and they hated her pride.
They asked her advice and then questioned her guidance.
They branded her loud, then were shocked by her silence.
When she shared no ambition they said it was sad.
So she told them her dreams and they said she was mad.
They told her they’d listen, then covered their ears,
And gave her a hug while they laughed at her fears,
And she listened to all of it thinking she should,
Be the girl they told her to be best as she could.
