It's been a massive year for us and when we played our first gig of 2024 (a late notice spot at @celtic_connections ) we never dreamed we might release TWO albums this year!
The reception to both has been incredible and lovely and we're super grateful to everyone who has listened!!
Both are available on Bandcamp and it's the last Bandcamp Friday of the year today. A Little Wilderness is available as a physical copy and if you order now, it'll reach you in time to gift for Christmas. One Night String Band is now available to stream on all platforms and our duo one will be, in the new year when we've paid it off (you'll be seeing this week as unwrapped happens, memes about how streaming services don't pay artists fairly - we have to laugh or we'll cry).

We had a fabulous weekend playing 3 very different shows:
🎶 Moniaive Folk Festival on Saturday was D + F tunes, good vibes, then jams with pals and patting some very good dogs
🎶 Bluegrass Gospel for the Moniaive parish on Sunday morning was a new thing for the duo (although not as individuals), but we had so much fun on it that we drove north listening to more gospel
🎶 Edinburgh TradFest Sunday evening was A + E tunes for a theatre full of lovely people ❤️

We're feeling extremely lucky for the experiences and can't wait to play more!!
Next up is Fire in the Mountain at the end of the month

@crossover_festival was a joy!! One Night String Band, our duo of duos with @oldspotmusic played the Sunday night and we had guest flat footers dancing on stage with us, as well as a mosh pit in front of the stage - all excellent fun! We spent the rest of the weekend hanging out and jamming and having a lovely time ❤️

@edintradfest always puts on an incredible festival and we'd strongly recommend getting tickets now, they're just on sale, to avoid disappointment. The banjo gigs we can't wait to see are @theonlies and @kaiakater but any night out at Edinburgh TradFest will be a great time!
