Things are happening! Since I started at Wirecutter, I’ve mostly been building out the beauty beat and our team, but … you know a girl loves a byline. I got this @ephemeraltattoo in 2021 while writing an article on the company’s made-to-fade ink for @elleusa . They expected 98% of designs tattooed with their ink to fade completely in two years, and here we are, four years later! 🤷♀️ tbh, I still love it (I mean, I got a mandala for a reason). But, in case you’re wondering, Ephemeral now makes a “Gen 3” version of their ink and promises 90% of tattoos inked with it will fade within two years. My advice remains the same: Only get a tattoo—of any type—if you’re ready for a permanent change! 😂
