This week I had the privilege of sitting on the Project RED-D panel
@_iadms_ in Las Vegas, alongside the incredible
@sheriff.karen @drkateackerman @lauramoretti.rd @miranza_s @paula.thomson.3745
I shared my story — my journey through eating disorders, infertility and the triggering language that is used. It was one of the most vulnerable and emotional things I’ve ever spoken about, and at moments it felt overwhelming. But in that room, surrounded by such powerful women, I felt held, supported, and safe.
That’s the heart of Project RED-D — breaking the silence, opening conversations, and shining a light on the struggles dancers and athletes too often carry alone. It’s about creating change, protecting health, and making sure every dancer knows they are more than their performance.
I’m so grateful to have been part of this conversation and to lend my voice to a project that is making such an important impact. My hope is that by telling our stories, we not only raise awareness but inspire real change in the dance world and in the culture surrounding dance. Go to
@project.red_d website and check out our two new impact videos.
