From club promotion to cultural respectability 😉 - I had a great time chairing a talk at the V&A with @martin_green_sound@paultunkin and @countindigo delving into the history behind their unconventional 90s clubs #Smashing #BlowUp #Indigo and some of the tracks that defined them, with a surprise outro sung by the Count himself.
It was all part of a fascinating @musicvenuetrust day at @vamuseum exploring British grassroots culture through a celebration of Grassroots Music Venues. Thanks to caroline_maybe @markdavyd@bevwhitrick and the MVT team for inviting me to participate.

I'm hosting a panel discussion for the @musicvenuetrust at the V&A South Kensington *this Sunday* (03 May) as part of a whole day celebrating grassroots music culture.
Looking forward to talking with @martin_green_sound@countindigo@paultunkin at 15.50 about the enduring influence of 90s alternative clubs like Smashing, Blow Up and Indigo and how they were at the heart of the scene. They'll be playing some of the music that made it happen.
