I’m so excited to share that I’m an artist in the Chromatic Roots Immersive Experience in collaboration with @artsplus.clt ! Doors open August 1st, 2025 at the Arts+ Community Campus in Plaza Midwood! Make sure you follow @chromatic.roots for updates on ticketing and events. This installation features the hard work and insane creativity of more than 30 local artists and musicians, and explores themes of fighting apathy and stagnation. And shoutout to @superdaftbros @luvlymoon_ @arko.clt @rebeccalippsart and @catbmakes for leading this project and providing guidance and support every step of the way in bringing this new world to life.

Some of my favorite sunsets have been on 485 so I started a series called “Wanna Go for a Drive?” using my own photos as references. While I am very attached to the tiny cars and vibrant skies, both of them will be for sale at @thebohemianwine starting this Thursday July 10th. Thank you @subconartist for putting this together 💜 Slide 1: “Exit 4” oil on canvas, 8 x 8 inch Slide 2: “I-485” oil on canvas, 8 x 8 inch Slide 3: another palette I managed to use every inch of Slide 4: Why buy art from TJ Maxx if you could own pieces from local artists? Come out and support all of the talented people that are a part of the show on 7/10 7-10pm

Every part of my creative mind was fed last week in San Francisco. When I’m not designing, I’m usually working with more traditional mediums like painting or drawing so attending Config 2025 by Figma and visiting MoMa and de Young back to back was beyond fulfilling. I learned so much about programs I use daily, met so many incredible, talented designers from around the world, and talked all things design and art related from morning til night and then night until morning. Getting to immerse myself in creativity from centuries ago, present day, and seeing where it’s going next made me feel grateful for this moment in time and my role in all of it. I saw a ton of cool shit but here’s what inspired me the most: Slide 1-2: Yayoi Kusama: Infinite Love Slide 3: Gerhard Richter - Stadtbild Madrid (Cityscape Madrid) (1968) Slide 5: Olafur Eliasson: One-way Colour Tunnel Slide 6: closeup of Henri Matisse - femme au chapeau (Woman with a Hat) (1905) Slide 8: Elizabeth Murray - Things to Come (1988) Slide 10: Martin Wong - Chinese New Year’s Parade (1992-1994) Slide 12: David Wojnarowicz - The Death of American Spirituality (1987) Slide 14: Wayne Thiebaud - Diagonal Freeway (1993) Slide 16: Richard Hamilton - War Games (1991-1992) Slide 18: closeup of Miguel Arzabe - Te Quiero Inti (2021)

Inward (Left) - oil on canvas Creative Connections (Top Right) - oil and cotton thread on canvas Pass Like Clouds (Bottom Right) - acrylic and cotton thread on canvas All 3 of these pieces explore some of the emotions we face during self-reflection, a vital part of the healing process. I’m beyond grateful for my time with @besocialplease and for @iamkingcarla ’s guidance through all of the anxiety and doubt that come with creating things that are near and dear to your heart. And a big thank you to @elmiedomino for the beautiful photos of my work ♥️

Come make some art with me! This Thursday, January 16th from 6-8pm, I’ll be hosting an open art studio session at @besocialplease . This is a good opportunity to work on existing projects, ask for feedback, start something new or just change your scenery for a night and get re-inspired if you’ve hit a creative block ✨ Some basic art supplies will be provided but feel free to bring your own materials too. Artists of all skill levels and mediums are welcome in the space. RSVP at the link in my bio!
