A few memories of JAYO 🪽.
What started as “let’s get a couple quick videos of everyone talking about a Jayo memory” at the recent nitro circus Aus tour, ended up with SO many videos and SO many beautiful words we couldn’t fit everyone in to the video.
Thank you @toppdog for chasing up different people at the show making sure we could put a quick video together, thank you @freetheman.media for getting the footage, and putting together this clip, Thank you @coryhinny for getting a couple extra videos for us.
From myself, Jayo’s family, and closest friends, it means the absolute world to us to hear Jayo’s name as much as possible! Tell all of the STORIES, all of the MEMORIES, say his NAME, keep him as close to all of our hearts as possible, FOREVER.
Jayo forever! 🤍

Who would have thought Jayo’s first race bike has found its way back to the family! Found on Facebook marketplace 20 years later and still with his original race number! #3
Jayo’s dad Gary had drove to Albury to pick up his first ever brand new bike to give Jayo the best possible chance since he showed such talent.
Jayo first had #23 when he raced it in Sydney but not long after getting it he moved to Melbourne and for him to race at the Aussie titles his number had to start with a 3. Jayo’s first ever Aussie titles at South Coast MX track in Adelaide 2003, he took home 3rd place at only 7 years old.
I only knew Jayo as a freestyle rider but i love hearing stories of Jayo’s racing days from mum Trace. That crazy little blonde hair’d boy - no fear and always excelling at what ever he put his mind to. That never changed, whatever Jayo put his mind to he would accomplish no matter how much hard work needed. When things got tough his words would be, quote; “I love this shit! Makes me tougher!”. We miss you Jayo and we’ll forever keep your name alive with so many stories we are grateful to have! ❤️

6 MONTHS 🪽❤️
It comes as no surprise Jayo was moto obsessed from the time he was walking.
His younger years were full of racing all over the country side before learning his first backflip with Cam Sincs which continued on to focussing on freestyle MX.
Jayo’s drive & determination was in-built & second to none (so it’s no surprise he excelled in sports). Even as a little boy, he would get knocked down in footy - get up tougher, crash his pushy and again - get up tougher. Some could argue it seems to be the “archer” gene.🧬😂
Here’s some throw backs to a gorgeous blonde boy, who loved his bikes, loved footy, and grew up tough as nails yet still ticking off goals and living life to the fullest.
From 10 years old throwing backflips into a foam pit, to 28 years old throwing tripple backflips!
1: Jayo 8 years old with his trophy’s
2: first bike and first set of Fox gear for his 4th Christmas
3: 6 years old riding Jake moss’s 85. He was so little he had to ride up to someone to get him off😂
4: His first Aussie titles and came home with 3rd
5: 10 years old flipping into cam’s foam pit. Cam had him for a week in school holidays and said “I’ll get him flipping”, by the first day he was doing no handers.
6: Jayo and Cam for ADB magazine
7: Jayo at a Redbull training camp with josh Sheehan fast forward years later to training tripples together.
8: Jayo (number 3) scoring a winning try, he loved footy just as much as bikes!
(Thank you @rocca_madden for helping with some old and where they were taken.🤍)

(May have not been able to fit all in this post but it is always so special seeing tributes to jayo🤍)
One month remembering Jayo.🦋

This session was filmed by @tomfieldmedia whilst Jayo, josh @freeformactionsports and @rocky_glynn were prepping for an up coming event overseas. Jayo was so happy this day, he had a great session and said it was one of his best tripples he had done. He was so confident and comfortable with the tripple, he had insane awareness in the air and had even started tapping the rear break to slow it down would you believe. He was super excited about his new partnership with @stark__future and what new heights they were working on together. We are still so grateful for the support stark gave Jayo, they became friends to Jayo as well as a partnership.
It was always jayo and josh; from 2018 when they first began working on the tripple, finding a ramp that could be transported to and from competition. Years of building ramps half of the time out of their own pockets, some ramps only jumping once or twice in someone’s backyard and realising it wasn’t the right ramp - back to the drawing board they would go. Both doing this on their weekends whilst working full time jobs to fund their passion and dream together.
This video brings a smile to our face as we can treasure these happy memories watching these two work together. They always had each others back, they had become family.
We can remember Jayo calling us this day telling us how stoked he was with this jump so let’s remember those amazing times.
How proud we are of his drive and determination 🖤
