<š„ššš„šš”ššš>
When I first started my business, I was hyper focused on what my clients would want to see from me. I made my own website that had baroque āwallpaperā, antique picture frames and swirly looking fonts- but it wasnāt my style at all. In fact, if youād booked me having only seen my website, you probably would have been expecting one of the golden girls to show up on your wedding day.šµš¼ LOL I bought a condo on āprincess crescentā - completely on purpose- because I thought my brides would like that. (I donāt identify as a princess *AT ALL*) Then, knowing my clients would be coming to my home for consults, I decorated the place like a wedding cake had exploded inside: pink, sparkly things, feathers and fursā¦but AGAIN, it wasnāt *my style* at all. Since then, Iāve done a lot of growing both personally and professionally. Iām more confident in who I am and what I have to offer and I know my ideal client is someone who vibes with the real me- not the version Iād created for marketability. This time around, itās ALL ME- and I donāt care if it looks bridal/ too risquĆ© / too bold- whateverā¦. Itās who I am. Iām proud of it all- The logo, the website, the colours, the content, because its me, unafraid of being me. š§” When marketing your business, do your best to show up authenticallyā¦itās how you attract your tribe! Iāve definitely learned my lesson and Iām never going back! Haha
