Outside of Nagano (Yamanochi) is the onsen (hotspring) town of Yudanaka. Little baths are found all over this cute town. Don't forget your towel, no need for a swimsuit (it's a no-no and tradition). We were spoiled during our stay.
The gardens in Japan are truly spectacular. Beautiful, peaceful, and meticulously maintained. Purely magical. Some of the bonsai we saw were over 100, 300, and 500 yrs old. Passed down from bonsai master to the next generation. They claimed 1 in this collection to be approximately 1000 yrs old. 🌳🌲💚
Those fluffy pacakes are real!! Kanazawa stole my heart. The castle, the farmer's market, the museums, and the samurai district. I'll miss you. WATCH OUT FOR NINJAS! They're real too!
