This is a dream collaboration for us to be able to invite the legend himself to sit in with us. Mumbai! You gave us the Premiere of our dreams. Thank you for coming out to witness the magic of NIMAD Live. We are overwhelmed by the response of the show and so happy that it was on our home turf.

PYARO PYARO, our first single from NIMAD OUT ON 7th October. This Album trailer documents our journey of this Album. NIMAD is a once in a lifetime record that attempts to document the sonic tapestry of Nimad region in Madhya Pradesh, India and bring generations old folk tunes into the NOW. This happened when 2 multi-instrumentalists, Bharat Chandore and Jayesh Malani, decided to pack their bags and studios and head to a small little village named Chichli, in Nimad, Madhya Pradesh, to spend a good 25 days, making a make shift studio in a mud house, on the bank of river Narmada, recording with 8 different folk groups, who they found over a period of 6 months prior to going, and documenting the sonic and visual landscape while thoughtfully adding to mould the compositions preserving the rawness of the folk. Post this they collaborated with various artists in different cities on different songs like @bombaybrass and @saurabh.bass in Mumbai, @aftabqadriofficial Qawwal party in Indore, @bass_rebri_singh on double bass from Kolkata. 
 The album is Mixed and Mastered by one of their idols, Ben Findlay, who works out of a small village in Scotland. 
His work with Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Paul Mccartney, Tinariwen, Peter Gabriel and Patti Smith has inspired Jayesh and Bharat through their lives and working with him was nothing short of a dream. NIMAD is now a family of more than 100 people who have worked together to make the album possible.
