These photos barely scratch the surface of the amazing time we had a year ago today! So thankful that we were surrounded by family and friends, it was truly unforgettable.
Cecie, thank you for being my partner through all the chaos of this past year. From newlywed life to figuring out parenthood with our little Ezra. You’ve been the most amazing mom and the most solid teammate I could ever ask for. After 10+ years together and one year officially married, I can honestly say it just keeps getting better!

11 years ago, Cecie tore her MCL… and somehow I ended up with a lifelong commitment. 😂
I still remember pulling into my grandparents’ driveway after taking her to get her knee checked out. Before we got out of the car, she looked at me and asked, “So… what are we?”
Apparently the answer was:
roommates, best friends, therapists, gym partners, road trip survivors, band support crew, grief partners, parents, husband and wife… and occasionally two stubborn people arguing over absolutely nothing. 😂
But through every season, every high and every hard year, we kept showing up for each other.
Almost 2 years married.
A year and some change into parenthood.
11 years of growing together.
Thank you for being my rock while still keeping life fun.
Thank you for pushing me outside my comfort zone while still letting me be me.
Thank you for supporting the music, the art, the dreams, the chaos, and the calling.
Thank you for loving my family like your own and for being there for my granny and pawpaw through the years.
These last few years have tested us in ways we never expected, but you’ve stayed steady through all of it. You helped carry me through some of the hardest losses of my life, and I know my grandparents left this world knowing I was loved well and standing beside a good woman.
One of the last things my granny told me was to keep fighting for each other. Don’t let anyone come between us. Always keep mutual respect. And that stuck with me deeply.
What I do reflects you.
What you do reflects me.
And together, we’ve built something beautiful.
Now we get to raise our little boy and show him strength, love, faith, loyalty, laughter, and resilience all at once.
We’ve come a long way from that driveway conversation. And honestly… I’m still really glad you asked. ❤️

New EP, ‘The Curse Of Care’ now playing.
For the last four years I’ve lost someone close to me.. and on Sunday my Granny passed on. I have so many emotions and feelings at this moment. One thing that has given me peace is the fact my granny is now resting and reunited with pawpaw, gran gran, and UNC! The selfish side of me wanted her to stay here forever but I know that’s not fair. She did her time! Thank you for everything, Granny! Took myself and ABANAC on our first tour in her little mountaineer back in 2006. Handled it like a G and partied harder than all of us 😂
I’ve got so many stories and I’ll share them as I can but I wanted to share this info with you all. Please come and help us send Granny off in style! I will miss you for the rest of my years and I promise to show Ezra how amazing you were ♥️
