Midge Ure - Catalogue: The Hits Tour (UK)
ELEX had the pleasure to be invited on tour with
@midge_ure and his wonderful team. We worked closely with Midge and his team to come up with the stage and lighting design to best portray his vision.
Design was made easy thanks to
@castsoftware Wysiwyg, linking up nicely with
@avolitesltd Titan for our pre-viz renders and pre-programming.
With a variety of different fixtures from
@robelighting ,
@clay.paky ,
@germanlightproducts ,
@martinprofessional and
@chauvet_pro ; we believe we created a versatile rig capable of overcoming the unique challenges of this tour: scale.
The design of our rig meant we could adapt as necessary to fit in to smaller or larger venues across the tour, a lot of which being theatres.
Of course, we also handled power and data distribution.
Our custom designed networking racks provided all the data distribution we could need, comprising of
@netgear AVLine switches,
@obsidian_control sACN nodes and an Avolites TNP, all back to our Front of House rack - providing uninterrupted and reliable data communication.
