As Estadio Banorte (formerly Estadio Azteca) reopens ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, lighting designer Giovanny Garrido trusted Obsidian Control Systems’ ONYX platform to power the reopening celebration and friendly match. Using NX2 and NX4 consoles alongside Netron data distribution, the production delivered dynamic, reliable control for one of football’s most iconic venues.

Sound Vision Lights continues to raise the bar in Mykonos 🇬🇷
At the Gryparion Theater, a new Elation and Obsidian investment debuted during a musical conservatory performance, with Achilleas Piperidis of Sound Vision Lights leading lighting design and programming.
Featuring fixtures like REBEL PROFILE, FUZE PROFILE, KL PAR FC, and SŌL I Blinders, all brought together on Obsidian ONYX control, the rig delivered consistent color, quiet performance, and creative flexibility that is perfect for any theatrical space.
Thanks to the support of Michael Kontogiannis and Panou SA, the system was trusted with Mykonos’ island conditions and is a great example of thoughtful design, reliable tools, and the people behind the scenes!
