I got to showcase my work on the @linknycofficial #artonlink kiosks throughout New York city and I was fortunate enough to see it the other day! So stoked and grateful I had the chance to show off my work to the most unique city in the world. The illustrations are based off of the theme actions sports throughout NYC skateparks. The first illustration is set in LES Skatepark, the second is set at the Brooklyn Banks and the last illustration is set at Mullally Skatepark. If you spot any of my pieces let me know and tag me. Shoutout to @j__eagle for sticking through the cold with me to get these photos go give him a follow.

Although I love BMX and action sports, and it's a big part of my life for some reason, I don't often find myself drawing anything related to them. For my recent digital illustration class, I decided to create a illustration based off the BMX, skateboarding, and roller skating communities in NYC and how no matter which group you belong to, we all cruise by and help each other. This illustration took longer than I expected because I'm still trying to get faster with photoshop lol, but I'm happy with the final results. I started the project traditionally, drawing the figures with ink, and then worked my way through Photoshop. Playing around with the limited color palette was tricky at first but it became a fun experience once I was in a groove. I don't normally draw in this style so I hope y'all enjoy it, and let me know what you think. #digitalillustration #nycart #bmx #rollerskating #skateboard @adidas @artlinkinc #artonlink

Reposting this because of the lightening issues of the original post Title: A Leap Forward 11x14 Medium: Charcoal & Graphite There are many meanings you can take from this piece, many interpretations I should say. My take away from this creation is the fact of leaving your past behind and taking a leap forward to the greater good that you truly see for yourself. Seeing the past trauma, altercations, and overall greatness from your past and seeing where you are today truly makes you a stronger or weaker person. Your everyday life, your decisions, the people you surround yourself with will effect who you truly are. This piece is suppose to show a older man who has finally taken a step forward in life away from the hardships from his pass and really using what he has in the moment to better himself. The clouds represent the haziness the man is feeling from his past life. A fogginess that remains in his life that will flow on into his new life that will keep him moving forward The broken glasses with his pass In the reflection shows how he has released himself from the pass and is now proceeding to move forward in a new life and is working to become a better version of himself. The glasses falling towards the viewer shows the old life falling away from him and now him wearing the new pair of glasses conveys his new perspective on a greater more sustainable life. There are many interpretations I wanted the viewer to make with this piece which you can obviously still make but this was my interpretation and I would love to hear yours. “Harmonica Hippie” 9x12 Graphite, Charcoal, and pastel This was an off and on project I was doing and I feel like it’s just about done. I’m definitely proud of this one! This is a drawing of my grandpa Dom playing his trusty old harmonica. Second slide is the reference photo. Let me know what you think. #art #myart #realismdrawing #harmonica #hippieunited

10x17 Mix media - water color, colored pencil, and gouache This was my final for my pictorial problem solving class where we had to create a two page spread illustration based on a children's book. One of my favorite children's books when I was little was The Little Mouse, the Red Ripe Strawberry & The Big Hungry Bear. I admired the illustrations in this book when I was a kid and there were times that rather than reading the book I would just look at the images and appreciate every little detail it possessed. That being said, it only felt right to do my own rendition on it. I also included my process along with the cover of the book if you guys want to look up the book for yourselves 😊

6x8 Back Image 3x3 Front Pocket design Medium - Ink This was a old assignment I did in the beginning of this semester where we had to make a logo for a t-shirt based off a brand of our liking. My brand is based off of cycling and the benefits that come along with it. The main benefits the brand promotes are how cycling provides community and adventure. I took a more simplistic approach with adding minuscule details, for example the people riding and the nature elements. Learning how to balance out the blacks and whites properly was definitely the most fun and tedious part of this assignment. I'll be making prints of the first illustration which will appear on here soon 😊
