Meditation ritual meets curl care.
Filmed in Brooklyn, New York, Myself with the @owayusaofficial team introduced the new Curly Hair Range by Oway, a four-step system built to hydrate, define and honor natural texture.
The team started off the service with a holistic hand massage then it was over to me to care for our client’s hair.
I started with the Curly Hair Deep Mask, a pre-treatment to restore softness followed with the Curly Hair Bath for the first cleansing.
I did a second cleanse with Curly Hair Co Wash to help maintain moisture levels followed by the Curly Hair Combing Cream to detangle, protect and shape the curl.
I finished with the Curly Hair Mask again, left on as a treatment and massaged through the hair with a guided meditation to lock in moisture and intention.
Hydration. Presence. Texture. Energy.
Hair services can be more than a transaction. It can be a ritual of your own design, this is how I envision it.

Shade was asked to lead the hair team across nine shows over three days, creating bespoke looks for every designer.
