One of those pinch me moments when Ducati invite you to celebrate their 100th birthday and the launch of the new Superleggera at one of the best tracks in the world, riding some of the best bikes ever made. The 38: Between Two Shores exists to confront life after service, where identity is lost, connection fades, and silence takes over.
During Mental Health Awareness Week, three veterans and three civilians will run together for 38 continuous hours, side by side - using shared effort to break barriers and face whatās often left unsaid.

As men, we carry weight, some self imposed, some placed on us by the world. Weāre expected to be strong, to not need help, to know the answers, to get it right, to have it all figured out.
The older I get, and the closer I get to what younger me wouldāve called success, the more I realise that none of us do. Itās all our first time on earth. There were no dress rehearsals, and the people we looked to for guidance? They had less of a clue than we thought.
The more men I meet who are wildly successful in one area of life but quietly failing in others, yet still expected to have it all figured out, the more I see that this is what being a man really is.
Being a man is having the ability to look misery and failure in the eye and keep going. To be there for others when your own life feels like itās falling apart. To provide for your community when your internal world is struggling.
This is the way of the man.
We stand tall, knowing weāre flawed, and still show up every day.
