From Gretchen: Why is it that I can get on stage and sing for hours no problem, but the second a camera that ISN’T my own camera is pointed at me I completely forget how to be a human being 😭😂 We were on FOX 13/Q13 today talking about the new record and I swear I disassociated at least three times during our very normal and professional 5 1/2 minute interview hahaha. Nervous Gretchen made a full appearance. BUT — we got to talk about something really special to us. Two years ago we went to Florence, Alabama and recorded TWO full albums worth of music with Ben Tanner at Single Lock Records, and this release is year two of finally getting these songs out into the world. Huge love to @ettie.wahl and the entire ETTIE team for filming us live in their Seattle studio for the “Where Are You” video featured in this interview who helped bring that shoot to life. Also endless thanks to @ginabettellimakeup for makeup magic, @kaldoggdoeshair for hair genius, and @ryanjamesconover for helping pull together the looks that day and to @_____rukhsana_____ for the bags of ice and the hype energy. This album deserves to be heard, shared, screamed in your car, danced to, cried to — whatever you need from it. And honestly the best way you can support us is by showing up.
