@sondrelerche has announced his first album in more than 4 years, Acrobats will be released on August 21 via PLZ/Virgin. This week, he released the official video for the album's first single “Little Kids,” directed by rising Norwegian filmmaker Lea Meyer, co-produced by Alexander von Mehren and Lerche, and mixed by Jørgen Trœen. Lerche has also announced a US tour in support of the album that will begin on September 10 in Boston and make stops in NYC, Chicago, Los Angeles and more. Read more about it in @stereogum.

As the country prepares to celebrate our 250th anniversary, @wxpnfm has announced four bold new initiatives that will provide the soundtrack to America’s Semiquincentennial.Throughout the rest of the year, WXPN will roll out The Philly 250, a curated collection of music from, by, and about Philadelphia, and Philly Anthems, a commissioning project bringing together established and emerging artists to create new work inspired by independence.
