We used Neil Young’s improvised ‘Dead Man’ score as an initial reference and I wrote something that sounds like what I imagine j mascis might sound like jamming with a baroque cellist.

PFL300 - Altar of Plagues Trilogy
Finally presenting this album trio collectively on vinyl for the first (and likely only) time. I dove back in to finesse some mixing/mastering details on these so I’ll call it our Criterion Edition.
Ashamedly proud of my three bleak offspring that span 2009-2013. Beginning with an ecology themed debut born of generation myspace that wears its heart too much on its sleeve, to a final record where we recorded unhinged vocals in the same room Kate Bush recorded ‘Hounds of Love’ (the engineer in the neighbouring room was so concerned by what he was hearing that we told him we were doing overdubs for a horror movie).
