Announcement Time!
I’m ecstatic to be returning to Australia for the 5th time in mid May for a 4 city tour, which culminates in playing at Sydney Opera House with my old friends Mad Racket for @vividsydney - which is an absolutely mindblowing prospect.
I clearly remember Simon Caldwell playing my track ‘Exhalt’ in 2010 which led to my first booking for Racket in 2011, so to be invited to play at SOH 14 years later feels kinda full circle. WYBES!
I will also be finally leaving the airport in Dubai on the way out.
UAE:
17/05 - Honeycomb Hi-Fi, Dubai
AUSTRALIA:
23/05 - Paradiso Music Room, Byron/Bundjalung
24/05 - Black Bear Lodge, Brisbane/Meeanjin
26/05 - Sunset with Simon Caldwell, FBI Radio, Sydney/Eora
30/05 - Tomorrowland w/ Edd Fisher, PBS FM, Melbourne/Naarm
30/05 - Music Room, Melbourne/Naarm
31/05 - Mad Racket @ Sydney Opera House, Sydney/Eora
I’m looking forward to catching up with old friends and also this will be my first time ever playing in Byron and Brisbane so that’s exciting too!
Huge thanks to everyone for booking me and also to James at @electronicmusiclife for helping put the tour together.

Electronic Music Life is proud to bring the legendary Music Institute tour to Australia for the first time, featuring founders, house music pioneers Chez Damier and Alton Miller.
When the Music Institute opened its doors in 1988, it was more than just a club. It was a cultural phenomenon. Though short-lived, it left an indelible mark on Detroit and the global dance music scene, championing techno, house, disco, and funk, while laying the foundation for modern dance music.
Decades later, its impact continues to inspire artists and music lovers worldwide.
Don’t miss this rare chance to experience the soulful sounds and enduring legacy of Detroit’s Music Institute as Chez and Alton bring their magic to Australia.
The tour kicks off this weekend with these must-see shows:
📅28.12.24 Kaurna Country/Adelaide: Inside Out x Sugar Park Festival
📅04.01.25 Naarm/Melbourne: Dance Flaws Presents at The Night Cat
📅08.01.25 Bundjalung/Byron Bay: Paradiso Music Room
📅10.01.25 Eora/Sydney: Sydney Festival, City Recital Hall

Cheb Moha opens the night, a DJ and creative visionary known for uncovering rare sounds from the Middle East and North Africa and blending them with global electronic and underground music. Raised across Libya, Iraq and Canada, his sets move between analog warmth, dusty grooves and contemporary club energy. Music that tells a story and rewards attentive ears.
Following him, Dar Disku, a London‑and‑Bahrain‑based duo and label, take over with their signature fusion of vintage Arab disco, rare regional edits and modern electronic rhythms. They’ve made a name for themselves curating and reworking hidden gems from across the Arab world into forward-thinking, dancefloor-ready sets.
