Proud. If there’s one word, it’s proud.
@brianbbjj and I almost didn’t make it here. Not because we don’t want to be here, but opening our own gym, the priorities shifted. Finding time to train for ourselves, while running the gym, it’s been a struggle. Everyone wants to open a gym, but they don’t see the amount of work and the hours it takes. And there’s so much more to it than teaching jiu jitsu and rolling. So being here, so close to the top, while running the gym, home life, being a mom, and everything else, proves to me I can do it. It doesn’t have to be one or the other, and I’m so dang proud to be here.
I got to showcase some of my jiu jitsu I usually don’t, and I’m dang proud. I’m constantly evolving and growing, but I really don’t see it on a day to day, so it’s nice to step back and see where I’ve come from a year ago at Pans. Back to the drawing board, to keep getting better. See y’all at the top ❤️🔥
