The Black Artists Dance Collective is fully dedicated to the advancement of Black dancers; we are striving to make a significant impact in the Atlanta community. We are especially proud of the success of this year’s summer dance intensive. The overwhelmingly positive feedback has truly encouraged us to push forward and aim even higher. Applications Open: January 15
Application Deadline: February 15

New this year: Wild Card Submission Option
Applicants may include an optional 1-minute video in addition to their application. This can be a solo in any dance style of your choice, or a video of you acting or singing. Wild card submissions will be reviewed as part of the application process.

Presented by The Black Artists Dance Collective & Georgia Tech — we’re launching an 8-week Fall 2025 residency focused on tech-integrated dance creation.

Two artists will be selected to develop choreographic works in collaboration with Georgia Tech students exploring innovation in dance and technology.

This residency champions multidisciplinary collaboration, BIPOC voices, and deep community engagement.

What you’ll get:
• $1,500 artist stipend
• $1,500 production stipend
• Rehearsal space
• Mentorship from renowned TBADC choreographers
