My album The Kármán Line released today! 🌓
I’m incredibly proud of this album and I feel as though it taught me a lot of important lessons. I challenged myself to embrace imperfection, explore improvisation and create free of constraints.
On the very day I decided to create an album of purely improvised ideas
@stellacciino shared with me a beautiful manga anthology of short stories by Mitsuhashi Kotaro called The Karman Line. This introspective, serene collection of short stories inspired the name of the album that would follow, as well as the idea of a flowing, loosely connected anthology of tracks to take the listener on a complete. The feeling of solitude and distance I felt from reading the manga definitely made its way into the music. So much love to Stella for your inspiration and for your wonderful work mastering the album. 🪐
Eternal thanks and love to you
@alina.ciobanu3 for recording, mixing and providing the beautiful artwork for this album as well as helping me craft the sonic landscape for this album in sessions where we’d mess around with effects for hours! I appreciate your encouragement to embrace the imperfections and your willingness to always share your valued opinion! ✨
Thank you
@stankybert_ for the incredible work bringing this album to life and breathing the space and distance into it that these tracks need through your Spatial Mixes 🌌
Big love to the whole team
